All Tinycal series instruments have a dual function: generation/simulation and measurement. The keys on the front panel of the instrument allow configuration for the generation of set values in engineering units or percentages. The panel keys also allow the generation in jumps that can be programmed from 1 to 30 seconds per jump, which is stored thanks to its 6 configuration keys. The simulation from the instrument – T254 and T264 – can be configured to simulate the sensor response (Pt100 or selected thermocouple type).

All instruments in the Tinycal family offer high precision and high resolution measurements which, together with their ease of use, high reliability and convenient transport, as well as their reduced weight and small size, make them basic standards in an instrumentation workshop.
