A Pt100 probe calibrator with double function: measurement and simulation

The T244 resistance thermometer calibrator belongs to the new range of Tinycal instruments designed by Gometrics. Its new design and advanced functions make it an ideal instrument for the calibration of Pt100 probes. Its front panel keys allow configuration for the generation of set values in engineering units or percentages. The panel keys also allow the generation in jumps that can be programmed from 1 to 30 seconds per jump, which it stores thanks to its 6 configuration keys. The instrument simulation can be configured to simulate the sensor response (Pt100 type or selected thermocouple).

The measurement function can be easily selected with the IN/OUT key, as clearly indicated on the display, which indicates the value to be measured. To avoid possible connection or manipulation errors, the measuring circuit is protected against short circuits and external voltages up to 30 V, ensuring a longer instrument lifetime. All instruments in the Tinycal family offer high precision and high resolution measurements which, together with their ease of use, high reliability and convenient transport, as well as their low weight and small size, make them basic standards in an instrumentation workshop.
